When I first arrived in Virginia from Germany, one of the things that struck me most was how many independent stores were being underserved by their suppliers. That observation stuck with me long enough to become a business.
Independent stores, corner shops, family-run gas stations and neighborhood groceries are the heart of every community I’ve driven through in Virginia and beyond. And yet so many of them are left to fend for themselves when it comes to getting the right products on their shelves, at the right time, in the right order. That’s the gap Keystone Distribution was built to fill.
People like to joke that Germans are reliable and efficient. I’ve decided to take that as a compliment and make it my promise to every partner I work with. When I tell a store owner I’ll be there on Thursday, I’m there on Thursday.
